Available in a variety of sizes, from 4-lb. to 2x16-lb. bags.
For best results, always close the bag tightly after use. Kingsford® Match Light® Charcoal should last 1–2 years in unopened bags stored in a cool, dry place. For best lighting results, partially used bags should be rolled tightly down to the level of the briquets in the bag and securely closed. Additionally, storing open or unopened bags in a cool, dry place will help maintain performance.

Failed
To my amazement the first bag lit instantly with a match. Second bag? Failed miserably. Matches and torch lighter couldn’t light these up. $10 down the drain.

I love this charcoal, because you don't need lighter fluid. I hate the taste of lighter fluid so I always get this one. This product needs no improvement and it is very affordable.

Makes it a lot
Makes it a lot easier to grill. And the pros are easy, consistent and doesn’t make the taste of the food like lighter fluid. Affordable. But the cons are that it is hard to store if you are going for “easy”

We love Kingsford when
We love Kingsford when we charcoal grill. The flavor in our food is amazing. You do have to practice, overall, to charcoal grill. Not expensive to buy, but, the gas grill always lights if, if, you have gas. If you are out of gas, better warm up the oven.

This is the only brand I’ve ever used! Throw it I the grill and light it up. Easy as pie! One bag generally runs $20 or but it lasts for 2 or 3 bbqs, depending on how much food you’re cooking.

Bad taste
Just tried this product out today, I’m pretty peculiar about the charcoal I buy but decided to try this one out of convenience. Now I can’t say it didn’t work, it lighted instantly and I was happy that my food cooked fast, although the after taste wasn’t what I was expecting. It basically tasted like charcoal mixed with lighter fluid. Obviously while grilling you’re always gonna get that great smokey taste but I wasn’t expecting the aftertaste being like that. Could have been a lot better and made my food a little hard to eat.

Hubby buys this as his go to charcoal. Says it's easy to light n does what it's suppose to do. I'm really not a big grill food fan n I can say food doesn't taste to bad after being on the grill.

My husband loves this
My husband loves this brand! Its ole reliable! It feels great to stand next to the fire from the girl & when we use this brand it such a quick process for the flames to shoot up. Depends...
The first bag I bought was fantastic, the charcoal lit, no problem, and I was ready to grill in about 10 minutes. I was so happy with the ease of this that I bought another bag when I ran out of the first one. I could not get the charcoal to light at all and one long matchstick after the next just sat there and burned out. Very disappointed. Maybe it was just a bad batch, but even then, I would imagine a quality control check would have caught that. Based on my first experience, I would have given this super high marks, but my second experience was entirely a bust. :-(

I love this charcoal
I love this charcoal because it has Match Light which makes it easier to light. Which means it takes a lot last time to get grilling. This is my first choice. It's a little more expensive but I honestly don't mind the price. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who grills.

I'm not the one
I'm not the one that grills in the summer time but I have seen this charcoal being used before. It is so much easier to start grilling when all you have to do is light a match to get the charcoal to catch fire. Would prefer this over the other kind of charcoal.

There is nothing like Kingsford charcoal. Kingsford products are the best for grilling. Kingsford Match Light charcoal is convenient, without the lighter fluid taste. Burns evenly, and lasts longer than the average.

HORRIBLE SMELL AND TASTE!!!
We purchased Kingsford Match Light Charcoal because there were no regular Kingsford Charcoal available. We used this charcoal for a Sunday night grill out. We noticed a STRONG smell of lighter fluid when my husband put them in the grill. This awful smell filled our house as well. We hoped when it was lite that the smell would subside. After the charcoal was ready to grill our chicken, we finished up with the other side dishes. We sat down to eat and we both ate a few bites realizing the taste of the lighter fluid was so strong on the chicken we could not eat it and I also had stomach issues the last two days. We not only felt sick to our stomachs but we lost 2 lbs. of chicken as well. I am very disappointed with Kingsford Match Light Charcoal and would never purchase this again. If we could have selected a rating lower than poor, we would have!

It’s definitely worth paying a little extra for a product that is easy to light and will keep burning until your food is done. I would recommend this over the cheaper brands it works much better!!

Always can count on this brand! It last the whole time while I am grilling. I have no recommendations on improving this product as it is always great for me. I can always find it on sale or reasonably priced I would recommend using this product to others.
