And our Match Light® Charcoal is made with North American wood and the same quality ingredients as Kingsford® Original to deliver an authentic wood-fired BBQ flavor — instantly. Available in a variety of sizes, from 4-lb. to 2x16-lb. bags.
For best results, always close the bag tightly after use. Kingsford® Match Light® Charcoal should last 1–2 years in unopened bags stored in a cool, dry place. For best lighting results, partially used bags should be rolled tightly down to the level of the briquets in the bag and securely closed. Additionally, storing open or unopened bags in a cool, dry place will help maintain performance.

It’s definitely worth paying
It’s definitely worth paying a little extra for a product that is easy to light and will keep burning until your food is done. I would recommend this over the cheaper brands it works much better!!

Always can count on this brand! It last the whole time while I am grilling. I have no recommendations on improving this product as it is always great for me. I can always find it on sale or reasonably priced I would recommend using this product to others.

We use this brand a lot during the summer and it works fine most of the time. You just have to be careful how you store it and it helps to have the liquid starter fluid

Great if You Want Solvent-Smelling Meat!
My otherwise-perfect GF bought what she thought I specified: Kingsford. I buy this brand because it's consistent even though the grill is overflowing with "ash" (read: filler) after every cookout. This instant light stuff is the worst, though. Burns far too quickly and as an added bonus STINKS of lighter fluid!
I'm going to start researching the Japanese charcoal (Binchotan) like I should've done years ago.

Didn't stay lit
I always used Match Light. I bought 2 bags recently, and both bags were not good at all.
I got them from two different locations. The coals would not stay lit. I used an entire bag on burgers and dogs. I used to be a huge fan. Lately not so much.

Match light is the
Match light is the way to go! Sure it's going to cost a little more than original, but no light fluid needed! Which means you can skip the purchase of lighter fluid and don't have to worry about your food tasting like chemicals. I've never had a problem getting charcoal lit, and is long lasting. Always recommend Kingsford over other brands. Tested this many times

I can’t say enough
I can’t say enough good stuff about kingsford. It all started when I was little and my dad would take me camping, we always had to stop and get charcoal. Kingsford was the brand my dad always picked out and he told me because it’s the best. You can’t get any better. Kingsford has so many different types of charcoal it takes care of all your grilling needs

I love this charcoal, it has helped me for many years, i believe this is excellent for a woman whom is grilling. Safer & they are right no fluid& no after taste like fluid does. I just wish it was a little cheaper in most stores for the larger bag. But over all i give it a 5-star in rating.

So I have been
So I have been using Kingsford charcoal for years and it is the best cooking charcoal on the market. I like using the match light because you don't have to worry about running out of lighter fluid or using too much or too little. The reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because if you start cooking after only 10 minutes as advertised, you can taste the lighter fluid. You must let it burn 15-20 minutes so the starter fluid burns off and the charcoal is burning clean.

Nothing beats being able to light your coals without having to fight it for a hour. It cooks great and lights easy as long as I have the option I’ll snag a bag and add some chips to get a good smoke.

We have always used this because its normally readily available at grocery stores and the easy lighting is just nice and convenient. We do add slivers of kiawe wood which adds such a wonderful flavor, especially with steaks. If i didnt have access to that wood I would probably get their hickory bag.
