Chicago Dogs

  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 poppy seed hot dog buns
  • yellow mustard
  • white onion (diced)
  • 8 dill pickle spears
  • 1 tomato (cut into wedges)
  • Chicago-style pickle relish
  • 16 sport peppers
  • celery salt


Prepare grill for medium-high heat cooking, approximately 400°F. Place hot dogs on the grill and cook for 4–5 minutes until cooked through, turning frequently to brown evenly. Remove the hot dogs from the grill and assemble by placing each one into a poppy seed bun then topping with mustard, onions, pickle spear, 2 tomato slices, pickle relish and 2 sport peppers. Season with celery salt and serve immediately.
