Whole Traditional Turkey
Let's get grilling
1 Prepare the brine and cool completely, then add the turkey and allow to rest in the fridge for 24 hours.
2 Remove from the brine and pat dry.
3 Mix softened butter with 4 tbsp of your favorite rub.
4 Add the compound butter underneath the skin of the turkey and reserve 2 tbsp to smear on top of the skin.
5 Season the outside of the bird with 1 tbsp of your favorite rub.
6 Cook at 325°F until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached in the breast.
