Grilled Caesar Salad

  • Yields: 4 Servings
  • Cook time: 3 minutes


  • 2 Romaine hearts
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Caesar dressing
  • shaved parmesan cheese
  • sliced honey (or salted) almonds


Cut Romaine hearts lengthwise, leaving stem on so leaves stay intact. Grilled Romaine works best if it is chilled before placing on grill.

Drizzle with olive oil.

Salt and pepper to taste.

Grill 2–3 minutes or until leaves are charred and heart is still crispy.

Add Caesar dressing, shaved parmesan, freshly ground black pepper and almonds.
