Let's get grilling

1 Combine Kalbi Marinade ingredients and marinate the ribs for at least 2 hours. For best results let them marinate overnight.
2 Set grill to 200°F. Remove ribs from marinade and shake off excess. Then, load grill and smoke for about 30 minutes and then crank grill to 350°F. Sear ribs 3–5 minutes on each side.
3 Boil noodles, drain and set aside.
4 Prepare garlic sauce and add butter to medium heat until it melts. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add all remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
5 Toss noodles with garlic sauce and then top with parmesan and green onion and kalbi short ribs.

Kalbi Marinade

  • onion, medium
  • garlic, minced
    6 cloves
  • grated ginger
    4 tbsp.
  • soy sauce
    1 cup
  • brown sugar
    0.25 cup
  • mirin
    1 tbsp.
  • black pepper
    1 tbsp.
  • thinly sliced scallions
  • sesame oil
    1 tbsp.
  • sesame seeds
    2 tbsp.
  • flanken cut beef short ribs
    1 lb.

Garlic Noodle

  • yellow noodles or spaghetti
    20 oz.
  • grated parmesan cheese
    1 tbsp.

Garlic Sauce

  • unsalted butter
    1 stick
  • minced garlic
    2 tbsp.
  • soy sauce
    1 tbsp.
  • oyster sauce
    1 tbsp.
  • fish sauce
    1 tbsp.
  • sugar
    1 tbsp.
