Kingsford^® Points Chase 2010, congratulations to Quau!

Quau, a competitive barbeque team from Illinois, received a check for $25,000 and major bragging rights on Saturday, October 2 2010 when they took home the championship in the first-ever Kingsford Point Chase.

The Kingsford Points Chase included 17 competitions, 15 of which were part of the KCBS Great American BBQ Tour. Quau participated in all 17 of the events, taking home the top honor in six of the events. Each individual event paid the winner $1,000 in prize money.

In order to qualify for the Kingsford Points Chase, competitors must have cooked at least 75 percent of their meat using Kingsford Charcoal.

Overall, Quau took home $31,000 in prize money from the Kingsford Points Chase.
